As a result of A/AA hockey being brought down to Novice level the Kings have a new criteria for receiving their Kings ring.

As of the 2016/2017 season the Kings Association will alter the criteria required to qualify for a Kings Ring to a 6 year period of being registered and playing within the "Kings" Association (from current 5 years).  This will begin with players with a birth year of 2008 and 2009.
