Major Midget AA

The King’s are planning to enter a Major Midget AA team into league play for the 2010 – 2011 season.

The King’s continue to plan to enter a Major Midget AA team into league play for the 2010 – 2011 season. Currently, Jack LaForty is preparing to coach this team and will be contacting players for the 1993/1994 years in the region.

We consider this an excellent opportunity for players to further their development in a competitive AA league of 9 teams. Players would have opportunity to affiliate with AAA / Jr B / Jr A teams while mastering skills and maximizing ice time at the AA level.

The program will consist of:
28 games (14 home games)
40 hours of practice ice. (app 1 practice per week)
 
The cost per player based on a 17 man team, will be $950 per player.   This fee is based on a, cost to play, concept and will not include any player development, tournaments, banquet costs and only 2/3 of the ice other Kings teams receive.
 
Tournament play will be optional but 2 tournaments would be projected and determined at an initial team meeting.
Team tryouts will be planned for early 13 - 22 September.
 
There must be 15 players registered for tryouts by 1 August for planning to continue.
