Kings Lose Longtime Family Member

2014-06-04

The Kings are mourning the loss of a longtime family member to their organization. Roy Chapman, father of one of our own, former Kings Executive Member and long time supporter was taken from us tragically.

Suddenly as the result of a tragic accident on Sunday, June 1st, 2014, in his 55th year, Roy Chapman, went to be with his Lord and Saviour.  Beloved husband of Lori (Clow), incredible father of Ross (Allison), Paul and Cole.  Loving son and son-in-law of Hazel Chapman (late Gordon) and Clifton and Lillian Clow.  Dear brother of Donald (Cheryl) and Douglas (Leslie DeAthe).  Roy will also be greatly missed by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was a passionate supporter of Southgate Community Church, Silver Lake Wesleyan Camp and most importantly a sold out follower of Christ.  He was a devoted employee of Hydro Ottawa.  Friends may pay their respects at Southgate Community Church, 1303 French Settlement Rd., Kemptville on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6:30 p.m.  Those wishing may make memorial donations to Southgate Community Church, 1303 French Settlement Rd., Kemptville, ON, K0G 1J0 or Silver Lake Wesleyan Camp, 512 Wesleyan Camp Lane, Maberly, ON, K0A 2B0.
