Minor Bantam Kings are the 2011 OEMHL Playoff Finalists

The Rideau St Lawrence Kings Minor Bantam AA team were recently named the OEMHL Playoff Finalists after losing to the Gloucester Rangers in the final round of the playoffs.  
 
The Kings ended the season in 4th place out of 10 teams, just 1 point behind the 3rd place Seaway Valley Rapids.  They ended the season with 36 points - 14 wins, 8 Losses and 8 Ties. 
 
The Kings beat the 5th place Ottawa Sting in the 1st round of the playoffs, advancing them to the 2nd round, where they faced the 2nd place Upper Ottawa Valley Aces.  The Kings beat the Aces in the 5th game.  This placed the Kings in the Finals where they met the 1st place Gloucester Rangers.  The Kings couldn't stop the 1st place Rangers and lost the series in the 5th game.
